FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
The Personal Stories Project held their 1st Annual Palm Springs Pride Mixer & Garden Party on Saturday, November 6th at the home of Joseph Chan and Charles Chan Massey in Cathedral City.
More than 60 guests attended the event and just over $3,000 has been raised as of press time with donations continuing to come in. 10% of the net proceeds from all donations made in conjunction with the event as well as 10% of all donations received during the month of November 2021 will be donated to DAP Health to help further their organizational goals. DAP will also join the more than 20 other non-profit organizations that the PSP supports through their annual giving program each December. Guests had the opportunity to donate hygiene amenities which will be assembled into kits and donated to DAP Health for distribution to their clients in need and clothing that will be donated to Revivals Stores, which donates 100% of its profits, over $1 million a year, to support comprehensive medical and mental healthcare at DAP Health.
Special thanks to Equality Vines for sponsoring a wine tasting, discount coupons, and a four pack of their delicious wines for the raffle; the Cathedral City Grocery Outlet for providing some of the wonderful food, discount coupons, and items for our gift bags, and the Miramonte Resort & Spa Indian Wells for donating the grand prize, an overnight “staycation” for two.
