Announcing Our Second Annual

Spring Mixer and Garden Party

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

The Personal Stories Project and One Million Kids for Equality will hold their second annual Spring Mixer and Garden Party on Saturday, April 21st at the home of Joseph Chan and Charles Chan Massey in Los Angeles.

The event is anticipated to attract approximately 100 guests. We are pleased to be partnering with two wonderful charities this year, Camp Brave Trails and the TransLatin@ Coalition.

Net proceeds from the event will be divided as follows: 5% to Camp Brave Trails and 5% to the TransLatin@ Coalition. The balance will be divided equally between The Personal Stories Project and One Million Kids for Equality. All donations are tax-exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

We will once again be holding a clothing drive as well as inviting guests to participate in an optional team building event, helping assemble hygiene kits, which will be donated to the Trans Latin@ Coalition’s drop in Center in Los Angeles.

Germán Toledo Carrero, a composer, pianist, keyboardist, and producer from Santiago Chile who is currently studying in Los Angeles, will again be providing entertainment.

The event will also feature a silent auction and raffle with fabulous prizes including hotel stays, gift baskets and other items.
