“Now, more than ever, I strongly urge everyone to seek the truth and educate yourselves rather than accepting the misinformation being spread. Excluding transgender men and women from our military is a serious threat to our readiness and lethality. Transgender service members are highly skilled, trained, and have served effectively for centuries, and openly for the last decade without fault or failure. Consider the time, effort, and significant cost it would take to replace their expertise and experience. Let our stories be heard.” Laila Ireland, Retired Army Veteran/Transmiltary Advocate
